- From maintenance to scheduling to flight crew training, we analyze every aspect of travel for potential risk. In the case that we find it, we take every feasible step to mitigate the risk to an acceptable level.
- Northern Jet Management employees are empowered to continuously improve and condition our operations for the highest levels of safety.
- We’ve partnered with the Federal Aviation Administration to fully implement our comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS).
- Our team rigorously performs recurring internal audits and evaluation of processes, procedures, activities, products, and services over 46 operational areas.
- We maintain the highest levels of industry best practices (ARGUS Platinum and ACSF Registered) that are audited by accredited safety organizations ARGUS International, Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF), and WheelsUp.
- We comply fully with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 and Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations.
- We only hire FAA-Licensed mechanics.
Extensive Flight Crew and Staff Training
- Flight Crews are FAA PIC type-rated in each aircraft they fly.
- Crews receive recurrent flight training at FlightSafety® International or CAE.
- Flight Crews perform safety risk assessments prior to each flight leg.
- Certified senior pilots, referred to as Check Airmen, serve as in-house experts who provide support to pilots and consult with management on daily operational situations, requirements, and regulations.
- Our Line team is trained internally through the National Air Transportation Safety First Training Program.
