Northern Jet Management Welcomes the Final Learjet
Grand Rapids, MI, March 29, 2022: Grand Rapids-based Northern Jet Management took part in aviation history on Monday, March 28, taking on the delivery of the final Learjet in production in Wichita, Kansas. The delivery marks the last of more than 3,000 Learjets produced since the aircraft’s inception in 1963 and the 155th Learjet 75 made. The aircraft will be added to Northern Jet’s managed fleet under the ownership of a private client. A celebration to commemorate Learjet’s six-decade-long history preceded the delivery with Northern Jet Management CEO Charles Cox, Learjet employees, and Bombardier senior executives in attendance.
Northern Jet Management has a long and rich history with the Learjet. Starting with the delivery of its first Learjet 40XR in 2007, the company has grown to have 24 Learjets go through its pipeline. Today, the company operates 13 Learjets in its fleet of 22 midsize, super-midsize, and large-cabin jets. Northern Jet has taken part in several of the Learjet’s milestones, taking delivery of the first and last Learjet 70, the 100th Learjet 40XR, and the 600th Learjet 45XR.
While the delivery marks the end of an era, Northern Jet Management looks forward to continuing Learjet’s legacy of reliability and performance, providing exceptional quality, safety, and service to its customers.
